Generations Roofing just completed my shingled roof replacement and I couldn't be happier with the entire process. I had had several companies come out to give me a quote, and Chris with Generations Roofing was the only one who explained in detail the entire process, the materials that would be used, the time frame, and answered any questions I had with knowledge and confidence. Their rates are competitive and I felt confident choosing them. The work crew showed up on time every day, were friendly and respectful, communicated with me if they had to leave early due to rain, cleaned up thoroughly upon completion (In fact, my patio was cleaner than when they'd arrived), and kept me in the loop throughout. Jared was a pleasure to work with on the finance end, as well as reiterating the process as it was progressing. When I had a question about a small aspect of the job upon completion, Jared was quick to drive over and inspect the area himself and communicate with me about the area in question. Last summer, I recognized a serious problem with my metal roof. I asked around, did an Internet search, and discovered that not very many roofing contractors work on metal roofs. The first company I contacted were impossible…after trying to make an appointment with them for weeks, I got a voicemail chastising me for not being home when their estimator came by when I wasn’t home! The second company showed up within a week, but the owner never even shut off his truck engine. He just stood in my driveway, looked up, and gave me a price. Since my options were few, I asked for a firm bid in writing. Long story short, I waited 6 months (with emails every week or so) and never got the bid. There was one more option in my search. They came out in 2 weeks, and actually took the time to go up on the roof and look at the situation. The estimator promised me a bid in 3 days. Since this was around Christmas, I wasn’t worried when a week passed. Or even 10 days. After 2 weeks, I emailed the company, asking when I would receive my bid. I was assured it was on the way. Two more weeks passed. More emails. Three weeks. Finally, the estimator contacted me to say they would not be able to help! Frustrating and stressful. Then, I happened to see a commercial on TV for Generations Roofing. I contacted them via their website. Chris came out within a week, took the time to walk the roof and give me a complete game plan…one that made sense. End result? I hired them and they did a superb job. They arrived on time, worked hard, and got the work done in a few days. And they went the extra mile to secure the portion of the roof that was not to be replaced. I’m so impressed! I recommend them highly.
